I’ve been struggling for the last couple days in writing a personal essay for an application. While looking into my own past I decided to explore a family legend. We’ve long been told that our grandfather had something to do with the invention of Styrofoam. Quick Google searches didn’t quite do justice to the family legend, indicating that somebody named Ray McIntire beat the elder Stober to the punch.
After following a series of footnotes however, I stumbled across this:
