Categories are good hierarchies are bad.
David Weinberger gave a talk on his new book at work last Wednesday, much in the style of Google new-bubble technology companies.
This blog’s new motto:
Slipping silently into the new technocracy, one theorist at a time.
There is something gently ironic about how an author describing the rise of disorder in digital information chose the rather staid confines of a book. Presumably, the book has chapters, a structured argument, an author who is an expert. All, as the author claims, elements that don’t manifest themselves in the digital chaos of the new world.
