I’m a big fan of the idea of teaching research skills. Research and writing is in many ways the first true instance of cybernetics, using dumb computers to do smart things when combined with the power of human thought. It is precisely this cybernetic aspect that makes information literacy terrifying to teach but exciting to learn.
