It's Electric!

So I watched Who Killed the Electric Car? last night. Of course, one can only assume “plug in” hybrids will eventually fill the same niche as electric cars. Plug-in, that is, until you realize that to buy the batteries necessary to run an electric car, you have to go to Texaco shell company.
Hmm.
And I love the Ph.D. guy on the Air Quality Board who killed the electric car mandate in CA after getting a nice juicy paycheck from the coalition supporting hydrogen technology (funded by Shell). What I really want are electric trucks, and some lawmakers with guts to mandate that only electric trucks can be driven within city limits. I might still be living in NYC if that were the case.
The good thing about houses of cards is that they eventually come tumbling down.
